SI 2005 NO. 887 - The Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2005

This instrument amends the Parliamentary Pension Scheme. It makes provisions for surviving civil partners and surviving partners who were neither married nor a civil partner, and makes pensions to adult survivors payable for life.  It also amends the contribution rate for participants with a 1/40th accrural rate from 9 per cent to 10 per cent with effect from 1st April 2004, amd amends the early retirement provisions.
