KEY BENEFITS

• The Bill will implement the recommendations of the Independent Company Law Review (CLR) in the light of the Government response provided by the White Paper "Modernising Company Law" of July 2002
• Its provisions will enhance shareholder engagement and a long term investment culture, ensure better regulation and a "Think Small First " approach, make it easier to set up and run a company, and provide flexibility for the future.
