London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act


Key Benefits

Set up the Olympic Delivery Authority and give it the powers it needs to make sure the Games are on time and on budget;

Meet the requirements of the International Olympic Committee to effectively reduce ambush marketing, and control street vending and advertising during Games time;

Provide the Greater London Authority and Regional Development Agencies with the specific Olympic powers they need to help prepare for the 2012 Games.
